The performance of the solar modules depends on numerous factors, such as solar irradiance, temperature, shading and the design of the entire PV system.
With low solar irradiance as well as high solar module temperature, less power is generated - as well as vice versa. To determine the performance of solar modules, electrical measurements are carried out under so-called STC conditions (Standard Test Conditions), which take all performance-relevant factors into account.
